OUR HAPPY HOURS: LGBT Voices from the Gay Bars, ed. S. Renée Bess and Lee Lynch
at the Bureau of General Services-Queer Division bookstore
The evening will feature short readings from their stories of bravery, joy, sadness, struggle, and pride, reminiscences of LGBT bar life, a Q & A with authors and attendees, book signings, and light refreshments. Books will be available for purchase at the event, with proceeds donated the the Ali Forney Center for LGBT Youth, New York City, and the Attic Youth Center, Philadelphia.
