Love Down Under is a fun erotic romance that takes place in Western Australia. Why did I choose Australia? Well, when I was deciding what to write about, I did a search for uncommon jobs women have. Pearl diver was one of the results. Okay, so I knew my main character was going to be a pearl diver, but where? I searched and found Broome, Australia, as a location that had pearl divers. Since I’ve always wanted to go to Australia, I chose that as the location.

Wylie Boase, the main character, had to get to Broome somehow. So I opted for her to take a scenic tour of Western Australia, starting in Perth and working her way to Broome. The research for this book was fun, as I checked out every place she stopped on the way. I found out that Western Australia is truly beautiful with iron rich red soil and beautiful waters of blues and greens.

There is, of course, lots of erotic action in the book, starting with Wylie’s affair with her tour guide. But when she gets to Broome, she meets Amarina, the manager of her hostel. Wylie is immediately drawn to her and sets her sights on seducing her. Soon, her feelings grow into something more, and surprised, she finds herself in a relationship with Amarina.

But Amarina is not out to her family and Wylie has a hard time with this. You’ll have to read the book to find out what happens next. Love Down Under is a fun frolic through Western Australia. I had a blast writing it.
