Kelly Wacker, born and raised in the West, currently lives in the Deep South where she teaches art history at a public liberal arts university on a historic and haunted campus. She advocates for nature and is a proud founding member of the environmental studies faculty council and program. Living on the northern edge of the fall line, she enjoys spending time exploring the local woods and tributary creeks of the Cahaba River. She’s inspired by meandering conversations, moments of awe in nature, thoughtful art, stimulating music, and lots of strong coffee.
